The Paramindz About us About us [Paramindz] –a word with great potential for variance, one could interpret it as either a half-brain or an extremely important mind. To us it is a word for the inner part inside everyone of us that guides intuition and inspiration, additionally; the huge variance in the word’s interpretative possibilities represents a dualism that almost spans from nothing to everything, a world of options with no definite rules or system. But in essence it does not matter what the word means to us –what does it mean to you? [We] are three guys, who have found great fun, inspiration, energy and passion in composing and writing rap music and lyrics. Many hours of fun has passed in our Danish studio, many more has passed listening to our tunes and refining them; and then one day we felt like sharing some of our material with the world. [Rap music] has been a journey for us, a journey that is far from ended; however for the people who were at our first CD launch on 7th December 2000 might agree that we have progressed significantly. There are many aspects of the journey; one is seeking the true words of our hearts, another is the joining of a talented guitarist, and finally the fact that we have been seeking incremental improvements in any aspect. In other words, the rap music you will find is the product of an inner journey for each and all of us. We have found our inspiration in many places, among others: Pink Floyd, Eminem, Cypress Hill, Dr. Dre, R.E.M. and even Leonard Cohen. [One thing] that characterizes Paramindz differently from other bands it the extensive experimentation with computers. We have gone through tracking, sound effects and even developed intelligent programs to write lyrics autonomously. In essence what we present on this site is an extension of human expressionism through digitalization. We welcome computers in this sense as we believe they will allow us to be even more human, in particular in terms of the inspiration, energy, passion and fun we have experience throughout this project to this date, but also because it was in this field we found a new sound that we from this day will refer to as the voice of the Paramindz ;-) Left to Right: DJ BadBoe, Dr. Morton and HardKåre salute you, For Global and Personal Growth, we recommend Free Energy and More Power to the People - Peace! ;-) 12 Week Activity 44/2003 [The End of Earth Tour 2003] Today the Earth Tour has been going on for [Exactly One Year] and it is with mixed feelings we now [Draw an "End" to this Circle]. We set out to see how far we could make it in Cyberspace; and with no regrets we can say we made it to [More than 35.000 People in 50 Countries!] Additionally, our music was played on [Radio Stations in 13 Countries!] The learning Experience has been Great; the Kind Help and Feedback from [Virtual Strangers] has left us [Grateful and Given us Faith in the Global Good]. Although the Experiences have been Many; Let us recall [The Moment when we knew Anything was Possible] The moment when we became [Band of the Week in Beirut on Vibe Lebanon] As the days go by, and the Now turns to History; let no one say that We did not Try, that We did not Explore, and last but not least, that We did not Experience -[for in the end that is all that Matters].... - at least that is How We See It.... [Peace and More Power to Y'All!] This Website will Remain On-line; and so will We.... ;-) 28-32/ 2003 For about a month now we have been doing our part in the [Furious Rap Battlez] on the Danish forum [MyMusic]. At present time, we are [Honored] to be one of the [Recommended Bandz]. It has been [Fun], but also very much time consuming. Most importantly we feel that our skillz have improved... Check it out yourselves as we reveal [Feedback, featuring Andrea]; our latest tune. Peace and thanks to all of you for sticking with us! Meanwhile the stats on [Kazaa] are going [Crazy]; at this point more than [27.000 users] around the world have been downloading [Paramindz Music]!!! 27/2003 This week [Dr. Morton] and [DJ BadBoe] was invited to join a society of [Danish Rappers]. This crew is determined to develop extreme MC and DJ skillz, so the invitation was gracefully accepted!!! We [Hope] to learn a lot more tricks, and we [Hope] you [Hope] to hear more [Danish raps] from time to time ;-) 26/2003 This week we were happy to be in present in [Australia] in the form of a [Paramindz] portrait on [SBS Radio]. We were happy indeed with the outcome which was in our opinion both humoristic and right to the point thanks to the great [Zanne Mallett]. Too many tunez to mention individually was played too making this appearance a huge contribution to the [Earth Tour] ;-) 22-25/ 2003 [Sorry] to all of you if you have felt that we have been quite more than usually for the past few weeks, but the fact is that we have been really [Busy]!!! As you will find, we have added two more tunez: [Earth] which features our beautiful and not to mention popular Andrea, furthermore we added another Danish track [70er Logik] straight from our [Hood]. Meanwhile we have been joined by a cool guy [Martin] who has now rigged the equipment and is about to start shooting our first [Music Video]. The downloads have passed [15,000 Users] by now, and we are most likely to make a radio appearance in [Australia] next week. As you will hopefully agree we have not been sleeping while we kept you in the [Dark] ;-) Peace to All of You who are Supporting Us! 21/2003 More than [10,000 Users] have now downloaded a [Paramindz] tune! - and the numbers keep climbing, the tune [Déjà vu] accounts for [75%] of the downloads, thereby making it our most successful tune so far... 20/2003 In celebration of the [Hood] we live in we released the track [Das Hood]. For those of you who do not understand [Danish] -here is your chance for the [101] ;-) 19/2003 This week the most exciting thing was indeed that it seems the [People of China] have looked in our direction and been playing our music. We are happy for this in particular since we had a hard time getting through... -but the [People] finally made it to us ;-) 18/2003 A [New Era] has begun as the Tour entered [Lebanon]. For this entire week, [Déjà vu] is featuring song of the week on [Vibe Lebanon] in [Beirut]!!! [Beirut] holds a very special place in our [Hearts] and we think of it as an exotic pearl; beautiful and rare -a place that most have heard of, but never been. Now [Paramindz] is there, and words cannot describe our Excitement... [Peace] to all the people of [Lebanon], especially thankz to the skilled and cool master DJ [Ceasar K]! 17/2003 It is now official! [Jeff Penney] is now our [Agent]. Jeff is a cool guy based in [Los Angeles] with lots of experience in the business, but far but foremost -he believes in what we do ;-) With regards to the new tune [Earth] the chi is playing us again... We played a demo for some fans and the feedback gave us the energy to work it through a few more rounds. Please be patient with us... 16/2003 This week we suddently appearedin [Russia] on [101.RU]. Totally cool! -and doesn't those letters just [Rock]?! 15/2003 This week we have been in the studio a lot in order to complete our next tune for the Tour called [Earth]. Like always, the chi is playing us ;-) But we hope to be able to present the tune in a few days; perhaps weeks. 14/2003 In this week we pay tribute to our man [Jeff Penney] in [Los Angeles]. Thanks so much for believing in what we do, and thanks for all your support and help in promoting !!! Undoubtedly, cool stuff is gonna happen on the [West Coast] thanks to Jeff... 13/2003 This week the Earth tour stuck twice, in [Bimuradio] of Switzerland we had the first on-air babtism of [Dragon's Gate] and on a revisit to Philippines where [Dagupan] played [Global Property]. 12/2003 With mixed emotions we watched the world go to war; we pray that harm and loss of innocent lives will be minimized. 11/2003 This week the tour crossed the channel and was present at [Radio2XS] in Sheffield UK. 10/2003 We added a new tune [Flow] to the Earth Tour repertoire. Please take a moment to chill and tell us what you think...Peace goes out to all of you who already submitted positive feedback, keepin' the [Earth Tour] dream real! 9/2003 This week we got word that [WPSR] in Indiana, USA and [CJMQ] in Canada participated in the Earth tour. Peace goes out to the crews of both stations for supporting us! Also this week our Chief DJ [BadBoe] got his first record deal with a label specializing in Break Beat. We lean back in awe of the DJ as he keeps cranking up those tunez... 8/2003 This has been a quiet week, however we are hopeful that something might happen in [Russia] and [Turkey] shortly...We hold our breath for now ;-) 7/2003 The week peaked with the event at [FGF Radio] DJ Avatar did a great show where he played the tunez [Beatside], [Déjà vu], [Crisis] and [Closing]. Furthermore he explained a lot about the Earth Tour. We can only say one thing: [Avatar] and the [FGF crew] -You [Rule!] 6/2003 We salute our very own [General] in USA for making us come through two radio stations in the Boston area. This week we also added two more [International Dimensions] to this site: A world map will allow you to see the progress of the Earth Tour; and a new translation should aid some of our visitors from [Asia]. Please note that we have a hard time making the tour pick up in [Africa] and [South America], so should you know anybody there please give them our regards and invite them on to the Earth Tour. 5/2003 We have been looking forward to the day when we could announce this new tune to join the [Earth Tour]. Next week [big things] are bound to happen in [German FGF Radio] on 7th February at 7pm (CET) they will be doing a program which will include Paramindz, and we invite everyone to be there ;-) 4//2003 This week our warmest greetings goes out to Poland as [ZAK 88,8 FM] is now participating and playing our music as part of the Earth Tour. 3/2003 Awakening from a quiet period during the holidays, we were happy to hear that [Hotstation in Greece] is now playing [Déjà vu] three times daily these days. Also, [German FGF Radio] will be doing a piece about Paramindz by the end of this month on a date yet to be determined. All in all, we have been very happy with these latest developments of the Tour as we have all progressed into 2003! 2/2003 We salute Poland to join our tour this week. Additionally, we have to admit that the chi did not want us to complete a new track for ya'll before Christmas, but we can promise you this: it will be here [shortly], and it will be [fresh] !!! 1/2003 This week we welcome Greece and Turkey to the tour! Also, we look very much forward to the activities from German FGF Radio which has planned to do something special for the Tour... 52/2002 A quiet week But our hope and CD's go out to CKMS-FM and UMFM Campus Radio in Canada, KDHX and WBCB of United States; and to Mujde Yayincilik of Turkey. We look forward to hearing what is going on out there -and will keep this site posted. Also, we will attempt to have a new tune up on this site in a few weeks to whish y'all a Merry X-mas and Happy N.Y. ;-) 51/2002 We are happening!!! This week so far we got the Queen of Philippines managing our tour, and keeping it real by getting our music played on KISS FM 102.3. We have our main Spy on Wax hitting us with hits from his truly cool website: www.thespycrew.moonfruit.com The hotness seems to be rising in the United States where our General is preparing his troops for the push. We have no field intelligence yet, but we will keep you posted of events in the Boston area. Finally, we wish more power to Timo who made sure to make our music a part of the music classes when studying modern music in Germany. All the best to all of you people out there keeping the dream real and alive! 50/2002 The coolness is rising!!! We are now starting to hear the first reports of our music played around the world; mostly in radios, but also in school and other public places. Some even claim to have heard Beatside in a commercial. We will verify these rumors and update this tour page in more detail shortly. 49/2002 The week we added New Zeeland to the tour. Also, the launch planning around the world seems to be progressing fine. We look very much forward to the results. 48/2002 We are proud to announce that we are now also present in the United States. However, being a BIG continent, we would still appreciate any help we can get here. The first reports of our CD's arriving has started to come in. Now we look forward to hearing about the results. -so more power to you all! 47/2002 During the first week of recruiting, we are now managed in the following countries: Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Philippines and Sweden. We are very excited with the help and commitment we have received from people around the world, thankz! -and we still need all the help we can get from the people who might consider [signing up] to [dream] with us... In a few weeks we should be able to plot the launches on the map. 46/2002 Since we launched the website 1st November 2002 we are now recruiting tour managers and other good people to support the tour. |
